If the customer is having problems locating this folder: ( Select Finder > Go > Applications)ĥ) When the AnyDesk application has been opened, there will be a 9 digit code that appears. (Finder > Go (top left inline with the apple logo) > Downloads))ģ) Open the AnyDesk download and ask the customer to drag across to applications as prompted, it will look like this for the customer:Ĥ) Once dragged across, the customer will be able to open up the AnyDesk application from their applications folder. For further information, see attached Knowledge Base: Remote support sessions and TalkTalkġ) Visit Select the operating system required - Mac in this instanceĢ) When the download finishes, please ask the customer to locate this within the downloads folder open it if they're confident with where it is located. IMPORTANT - If the customers broadband is TalkTalk, they will need to visit their online portal or contact TalkTalk customer service to get unblocked. 2018 mac mini video editing3/22/2023 The Mac Pro wasn’t updated at all from 2013 until 2019 when the new Mac Pro arrived. The problem with the 2013 Mac Pro was that it wasn’t constrained by its design to such an extent that Apple couldn’t even update it. The 2013 Mac Pro – which (perhaps prophetically) became known as the Trash Can Mac – could have mended the damage that had been done but unfortunately it made things even worse. This probably came to a head with the arrival of the 2013 Mac Pro, which came after years of complaint that Apple was neglecting creative pros and which Apple revealed at WWDC with much fanfare. Many felt neglected by the company who seemed to be spending more time on the iPhone and the consumer-focused Macs while ignoring – and often causing – problems of professionals. There are a few reasons why so many creatives ended their love affair with Apple. In the early days Apple’s Macs had some clear advantages over PCs that benefitted creatives, however in recent years Apple has lost the hearts of many of those creative professionals who used to choose Mac over PC. There was a time when Macs were loved by video editors. There’s a bit of an elephant in the room that we need to address first. |
